Ceiling-cassette Air Conditioners

Ceiling-cassette type air conditioners are designed to be recessed into a suspended ceiling, leaving only their slimline fascia panel on show. They are available in 1 way, 2 way and 4 way blow configurations, and are designed to occupy ceiling space that would otherwise be put to little use.

They are available in two body sizes, being 'compac't and 'standard'. The body of the compact model can fit through a single 600mm x 600mm suspended ceiling grid, which has an overall fascia size of 650mm x 650mm. The standard size models use a larger fascia panel measuring 950mm x 950mm.

They are typcially heat-pumps, being capable of energy-efficient heating operation to provide controllable comfort throughout the year, and are available in a wide range of cooling outputs from 2.5kW to 14.0kW.

Their multi directional discharge pattern makes them a popular choice for larger areas, where multiple air conditioners would otherise be required to achieve an effective distribution of air throughout the area concerned.

Being installed at ceiling level they work very efficiently on the warmest air within the room, and their horizonal louvers that discharge the conditioned air into the room are motorised, to that precise or swinging air patterns can be achieved.
