Daikin Air Conditioning
Daikin Air Conditioning have been at the forefront of the air conditioning industry for many years, being the first Japanese company to manufacture self-contained and packaged air conditioning systems on a commercial scale since 1924.
Unlike most of their rival manufacturers, Daikin's air conditioning equipment sales constitute in excess of 90% of their total annual turnover, with the remaining balance being from the sale of their chemical and hydraulic products.
With the development and production of air conditioning products being their core activity, Daikin air conditioning equipment has become a firm favourite of consultants, contractors and end-users alike, and has resulted in them being creditted for the introduction of many new air conditioning technologies over the years.
Adding to their strengths is an efficient distribution network in Europe, centered on their impressive manufacturing and warehousing facility in Ostend, and an excellent after-sales service for both spare parts and technical support.
Daikin's comprehensive air conditioning range includes products for residential, commercial and industrial sectors, complimented further by their air-cleaners, heat-recovery ventilation units and some of the most advanced controls in the industry. In addition, the Daikin Altherma air source heat-pump hot water system has lead the way in the heat-pump boiler market.
To uphold the reputation of their quality air conditioning products, Daikin operate an approved installer scheme, and Gelidus has of course been awarded this status.
